Adventure #4 - The Two Oceans Aquarium

Hey there,

We are glad to see you checking in on our latest destination.

What started as a trip to The Old Biscuit Mill ended up with us at The Two Oceans Aquarium at the Cape Town V&A Waterfront.

Now as for The Old Biscuit Mill, that's a story for another day.

Walking into the Two Oceans Aquarium you're immediately greeted by beautiful displays that leave you amazed.

What is amazing about this place is that they have so many different species of fish and kelp from both the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. Not only does this place feel magical as you walk through and see all the breathtaking displays it is also super educational and they focus on ocean conservation and making visitors aware of the effects we have on ocean life.

Kids will adore being here as there is a super cool play area and many fun activities to do throughout the aquarium itself such as interactive exhibits, a touch pool and so much more for them to see.

There are restaurants all around the aquarium for a quick bite as well as a gift shop full of awesome toys and ocean-themed items.

They also offer various experiences like a penguin experience, diving experiences as well as feedings and so much more. My heart melted as we got to see the penguins (guided by staff members) waddle through the aquarium to their habitats and the kids went crazy.

I would highly recommend checking it out next time you are in Cape Town, it truly was an amazing experience.
